I went to an early Halloween party over the weekend at a friend’s house. It was a pretty typical party: silly decorations, spooky music, food and everyone in costumes. It was okay, but I started to get bored fast. I was trying to figure out how to leave early when the hostess called us all into the living room. When I entered, I saw a man standing in the front of the room. My friend told us all he was a hypnotist. I could hardly contain my laughter. What a waste of money! His eyes met mine and saw the smirk on my lips. He called me up front to be first. I went up to the front of the room and sat in the chair he pulled out for me. He crouched down next to me and looked deep into my eyes. He started talking to me in a low, melodic voice. As skeptical as I was, I suddenly started drifting away, watching the finger that he was moving back and forth in front of my face. It wasn’t what I expected, but I definitely felt like I was under his control. He told me to stand and I watched my body respond. He told me to remove my clothes and they came off as well. I had no control over myself or my mind. I just did as he commanded. He started walking around the room and locked on to another woman. He did the same to her, taking her under his control, getting her naked. One by one, all of us were naked, just standing there under his control. The rest was a blur, I must have blacked out. When I came to, I was asleep on the floor with all the other guests the next day. I stood, trying to find my clothes, and found a homemade DVD instead. “Watch Me”, it said. My hands shook as I guided it into the DVD player.
