You have had a crappy day. You were stuck in airport security and you missed your flight. The flight that you finally got on had a two-hour delay. You are grouchy, hungry, and tired when you check in.
Finally, you have made it to your final destination.
My cheerful smile and kind words greet you at the front desk at your hotel. I work my magic and give you an upgrade to a suite. Your room has been the most amazing Egyptian cotton sheets and wonderful new pillows.
You inform me that you are starving. You ask if room service is still available. The kitchen staff is about to go home, but I’m sure I can have something yummy sent up to you. Would you rather have a beer or a scotch?
